Two experiments I ran
I tested Hostinger AI Agents on two realistic scenarios: growing an existing newsletter and validating a brand-new business idea.
Test 1 — Growing an existing newsletter
Use case: audience growth for a tech newsletter.
What I did: used the Marketing Planner’s “newsletter strategy” skill, then ran a 30-day growth plan, competitor analysis (Business Advisor), a referral program skill, and an SEO audit (SEO Consultant).
What it produced: a mix of strategic analysis, tactical checklists, and ready-to-use copy/scripts.
– Newsletter strategy: asked a short intake questionnaire, scraped the site, and returned strengths, weaknesses, and specific growth tactics (landing page improvements, referral loop ideas, partner swaps).
– 30-day plan: a week-by-week and day-by-day roadmap including posting cadence, outreach templates, and landing page tasks.
– Competitor analysis: scanned my site and the web, surfaced top competitors, differentiation ideas, and six prioritized actions ranked by expected impact.
– Referral program: a full program with reward tiers (editable), CTA text, welcome email samples, milestone messages, a four-month promotion plan, tracking metrics, and an implementation checklist.
– SEO analysis: on-page and technical recommendations, a competitive gap analysis, quick wins, and a six-month roadmap.
Notes and limitations: the scraper misread two sections as blank on my React single-page site, which led to some irrelevant advice. That’s a drawback to watch for with complex front-end sites. Otherwise, the outputs were actionable and something I would implement.
Test 2 — Validating a business idea from scratch
Use case: someone with no existing product who needs idea generation, validation, and initial launch assets.
What I did: started with a blank chat (advanced thinking mode) to brainstorm idea categories, used a validation quick-action, and then generated landing page copy.
What it produced:
– Brainstorming: seven coherent niche ideas (vertical AI assistants for trades, compliance/licensing trackers, content ops tools, community management tools, AI-assisted grant writing, micro-SaaS for freelancers, local business intelligence).
– Validation: the agent asked multiple-choice questions, ran market analysis, and applied common frameworks (SWOT, MVP thinking) implicitly, producing suggested next steps: talk to ten professionals, pick one profession and state, and build a landing page to test demand.
– Landing page: generated name options (I was recommended “BarReady”), full hero/proof/feature sections, a three-step “how it works”, objection-handling, and a closing CTA. Objection responses were particularly strong and realistic for skeptical users (e.g., attorneys).
Workflow caveats: quick actions are one-time. When you click a suggested quick action, other suggestions disappear and there’s no built-in queue or undo.
Overall verdict
Hostinger AI Agents is a pragmatic, low-cost tool that acts like a curated, task-focused consultant. Where general-purpose AIs require careful prompt engineering and repeated context provision, AI Agents gives structured flows, pre-made skills, and persistent memory so non-experts can get to actionable plans faster. It won’t replace deep vertical specialist tools or a human expert in all cases, and you must verify outputs (especially scraped data and legal advice), but for many small businesses it delivers a strong ROI for the price.
