Disclosure: Hostinger provided complimentary access to AI Agents for testing. I wasn’t paid and Hostinger didn’t influence this write-up.
Overview
Launched April 2026, Hostinger AI Agents is a focused suite of AI “advisors” aimed at small business owners who need practical, actionable help without the overhead of an agency or the time investment required to craft elaborate prompts in general-purpose models. There are seven agents: Business Advisor, Creative Writer, SEO Consultant, Marketing Planner, Legal Advisor, Customer Comms, and Sales & Outreach. The product ships with 100+ pre-built skills, persistent memory across sessions, a toggle for standard or advanced thinking modes, and integrations with many services.

Pros and cons
Pros
– Focused, well-organized interface with lots of pre-built prompts and skills that reduce back-and-forth
– Persistent memory so you don’t keep re-explaining context
– Quick toggle between standard and advanced thinking modes
Cons
– Quick actions are one-and-done: once you click a suggested quick action it disappears with no easy way to bring it back
– Built-in web scraper can misread complex sites and deliver irrelevant advice based on missing content
Who should use it
Use Hostinger AI Agents if:
– You have many blind spots (you don’t know what questions to ask about SEO, referral programs, etc.) and want concrete, organized action steps
– You’re short on time and prefer button-click skills over crafting long prompts
– You want persistent memory across sessions
– You’re on a tight budget and want a low-cost monthly tool to replace initial consulting work
Skip it if:
– You’re an experienced prompter who can build the same workflows inside Claude/GPT/Gemini
– You need a deeply specialized vertical tool rather than broad coverage across business topics
– You tend to trust AI outputs without checking them — scrape errors and hallucinations still happen
My tests: two real-world experiments
I ran two experiments to illustrate how AI Agents performs in practice: (1) growing an existing business (my tech newsletter), and (2) helping someone start a business from scratch.
Test 1 — Grow an existing newsletter
1) Newsletter strategy: I used the Marketing Planner’s “newsletter strategy” skill. After a short intake questionnaire, the agent scraped my site and returned a critique, specific growth suggestions, and quick wins. Useful, practical items I’ll implement included:
– Create a dedicated signup landing page with archives and a clear value proposition
– Add a “forward to a friend” referral link in each email
– Do partner swaps with adjacent newsletters for cross-promotion
The scraper misidentified a couple of sections as blank (my site is a complex single-page React build), which produced some irrelevant guidance. So double-check scraped findings.
2) 30-day growth plan: The agent converted the strategy into a week-by-week, day-by-day roadmap covering social posts, outreach templates, and landing page changes. The plan was actionable and clear.
3) Competitor analysis: The Business Advisor scanned my site and the web, listed top competitors, explained how they grew, highlighted where I have an edge, and recommended six ranked actions. Some recommendations overlapped with earlier suggestions, which is natural and helpful.
4) Referral program: The agent generated a referral program blueprint, reward tiers (I’d tweak one part), CTAs, welcome emails, milestone messages, a four-month promotion timeline, tracking metrics, and a quick implementation checklist. This level of deliverable would have cost an agency fee in the past but came back in minutes.
5) SEO audit: The SEO Consultant produced an on-page and technical audit, gap analysis, quick wins, and a six-month roadmap. I won’t be able to execute everything, but it surfaced practical work I plan to prioritize.
Overall for an existing project: high utility, time savings, and many immediately usable items — with the caveat to verify scraper-based findings.
Test 2 — Start a business from scratch
Goals: brainstorm ideas, validate them with business frameworks, and produce copy for a test landing page.
1) Idea generation: Without choosing a specific agent, I ran an advanced-mode brainstorm and got seven solid ideas (vertical AI assistants for unsexy trades, compliance tracking for licensed professionals, newsletter/content ops tools, niche community management, AI grant writing, micro-SaaS for freelancers, local business intelligence). The output included short analyses and suggested next steps.
2) Validation: I used a quick action to validate an idea (I picked compliance/licensing tracking). The agent asked a few multiple-choice questions and returned a compact market analysis that implicitly used frameworks like SWOT and MVP thinking — recommending “one profession, one state” as the right MVP approach. It also recommended talking to ten professionals before building and suggested lawyers as the initial niche.
Note: quick actions disappear after clicking; they’re helpful but you can’t queue them.
3) Landing page copy: The “Write a landing page” skill asked four questions and then produced five name ideas (it recommended one), a full hero, problem and feature sections, a three-step how-it-works, objection-handling, and a CTA. The objection-handling was particularly strong and felt realistic for skeptical buyers.
The result: a testable landing page concept you could launch quickly to validate demand.
What stands out
– Breadth + actionability: The main strength is the combination of many practical skills and templates across business areas, which reduce the need for heavy prompting.
– Built-in frameworks: The agents apply useful frameworks automatically (SWOT, Lean Canvas, MVP reasoning), so you don’t always have to request them explicitly.
– Speed: Tasks that used to take days or agency hours can be prototyped in minutes.
– Caution required: Verify outputs, especially anything based on scraped site data or legal/technical advice.
Final verdict
Hostinger AI Agents is an excellent fit for solopreneurs, side hustlers, and small-business owners who want affordable, actionable help across marketing, SEO, legal basics, and outreach. It’s especially valuable if you don’t already know how to prompt an LLM to produce professional-level plans and templates.
If you’re an advanced prompt engineer or need deep, niche vertical tooling, you may be better served by specialized platforms or custom prompts in general-purpose models. But for most time-strapped founders on a budget, Hostinger AI Agents delivers high practical value and accelerates the work you’d otherwise outsource or muddle through.
Tip: Use the agents to generate plans, then validate — don’t follow scraped suggestions blindly. Absorb what’s useful, discard what’s not, and adapt the rest to your business.
