Actor Seo Beom-jun embarked on an exciting journey through Daejeon, celebrating his love for bread while filming a recent episode of MBC's variety show, "I Live Alone".
Arriving in Daejeon
During the episode aired on the 16th, viewers saw Seo Beom-jun express his anticipation as he arrived at Daejeon Station. The charismatic actor exclaimed, “I’ve finally made it.” After a busy filming schedule, Seo shared, “I hadn’t been able to eat much bread while holding back during the shoot. I came to Daejeon to make up for it.”
A Passion for Bread
Known for his enthusiasm for baked goods, Seo Beom-jun has previously participated in bread tours across South Korea, including popular spots like Busan and Gangneung. This time, he joined a group for a unique bus tour led by the well-known figure affectionately called “Bread Mister.”
Originally launched as a taxi service, the Bread Mister’s enterprise transformed into a bus tour due to overwhelming demand, accommodating 45 passengers. Seo noted, “I’ve heard he personally tries everything and doesn’t accept any sponsored products.”
The Bread Pilgrimage Experience
The bus was bustling with excited passengers of all ages, each seat filled with eager bread enthusiasts. To cater to their needs, kits containing wet wipes and digestive aids were provided at each seat, ensuring comfort for the adventure ahead.
Before the bus departed, the Bread Mister light-heartedly remarked, “The moment you board this bread bus, you must understand that your wallets are destined to be opened,” which sparked laughter throughout the bus.
First Stop: Fruit Sandwiches
The first stop on their flavorful journey was a specialty shop known for its unique fruit sandwiches. Seo Beom-jun wasted no time, anxiously purchasing and savoring the delicate bread treats as soon as they hit the street.
The next destination was an egg tart specialty shop, which heightened the excitement among the participants. The Bread Mister revealed that some of the items featured in their menu were produced in very limited quantities—only 12 or 16 items available each day—which kept everyone on their toes.
Seo Beom-jun, displaying his bread-loving enthusiasm, revealed, “I heard I absolutely had to try the blueberry one. Without realizing it, I kept looking back. I was checking the situation with a certain level of tension.”
The Great Bread Rush
As they prepared to head to the bakery, a thrill of energy filled the air. The moment the door opened, participants rushed toward the bakery, exemplifying a spirited competition for their beloved baked goods.
This lighthearted atmosphere created a memorable experience for everyone involved, showcasing Seo Beom-jun’s knack for blending his love for food with entertainment on the show.
