In 2023, the WPBeginner Growth Fund invested in Seahawk Media to combine their WordPress services expertise with our platform and launch WPBeginner Pro Services. During the partnership, Seahawk Media delivered strong results, growing their business roughly threefold.
As we evaluate our long-term priorities, we are refocusing on what we do best: building premium WordPress plugins and software. Because of a long-term strategic misalignment with Seahawk Media’s leadership, we have decided to exit our investment. We thank the Seahawk Media team for their work and wish them well.
What this means for WPBeginner Pro Services customers
Effective immediately, WPBeginner Pro Services will be closed. We are committed to a smooth transition and will complete any paid services to the standard you expect.
If you are on a website maintenance plan, you may choose to:
1) Have your plan and services migrated to Seahawk Media so they can continue support, or
2) Cancel your WPBeginner Pro Services plan with no penalty. Customers on annual plans are eligible for pro-rated refunds.
Our support team will contact all affected customers with detailed next steps and any required information to facilitate migration or cancellation.
Recommended WordPress agencies and maintenance providers
If you need an alternative agency or maintenance partner, we recommend these reputable teams:
– Agencies: 10up, rtCamp, Human Made, WebDevStudios, MultiDots, Fixel
– Maintenance specialists: WP Buffs, GoWP
We are confident these providers can offer the service and expertise you need.
Thank you for your understanding and for being part of the WPBeginner community. We’re excited to double down on building best-in-class WordPress products and continuing to support the community with tools you rely on.
